ABOUT GLOBAL ART PROJECT
GAP boasts residencies, collaborative and interactive exhibitions, ongoing online projects such as artists' books, their Fragmentation Exchange Project, workshops as well as solo and group studio interaction as part of the residency experience. Operating informally through various actions since 2012, GAP came into organized existence in 2014 and marked the occasion with a month long residency in Venice, Italy at Palazzo Ca'Zanardi the first of eight such residencies. Since then GAP has added a performance component, member admn support, been collected in institutions including Nabila Fluxus Museum in Treviso, Italy and exhibited as a group or with select members participating at SF International Arts Festival (Dada Here and Now), Visual Strategies Collaborative Exhibition (Clearwater Artists Studio and Gallery Concord , NC) Room Art Gallery, The Fourth Wall Gallery, Gallerie Renee Marie, Cavallo Gallery (all in California); SZK Gallery Japan, artWALL Projects in Hungary, Campo- Santo in Ghent, Belgium with CrossingBorders and in several exhibitions organized by member Ron Weijers under the auspices of his 10dence Gallery in The Netherlands.
